Access to Repair Information

Dave Wangler, President and CEO of TMW Systems, gave the keynote speech at TMW's 2012 User's Conference in Orlando. In the speech, he noted, "Compliing information - whether it be for vehicle repair or customer preferences - is the biggest factor in tim ein the service bay."

Do you have experiences where it is difficult to access proper diagnostic and repair information for certain truck manufacturers, certain truck models or certain truck product issues? If so, I'd like you to share your experiences and then share with MOTOR where you go to fill in these gaps. Do you call a colleague? Search the web? Use certain software? Whatever it may be, it would be good for us to open up in this forum and begin pooling our knowledge in the pursuit of fixing vehicles faster and increasing up-time.
